Head Of Department - Military Intelligence | Project ManagerFederal Armed Forces Apr 2016 - Mar 2019Neustadt Am Rübenberge, Lower Saxony, GermanyAs "head of department - military intelligence" I was responsible for the battalion's military security, arms control and public affairs.- Accountable for the overall battalion’s military security incl. internal controls, intrusion detection, risk management, continuous process improvements, capacity planning, status & admissions reports, asset protection etc- Supervision of all security related activities, running weekly meetings and trainings for overall risk awareness, monitoring and conducting investigations in cases of failure to comply with the organization’s guidelines- General security administration for over 700 soldiers and their security clearance involving the management of 700 security files (day-to-day updating to ensure consistent clarity of status/integrity)- Conducting the overall strategic plans for the commander-in-chief and executive leadership on military operations and missions- Supported and guided over 1,000 soldiers regarding their security and intelligence processes on missions abroad- Achieved battalion’s highest rating at annual security vetting 3 years in a row (over 95 % success rate)One of my most important projects at that time involved the official introduction of the mechanized infantry combat vehicle "Puma" - today one of the best weapon systems worldwide. In this million dollar project I was responsible for "care and supervision" as well as external communication. This high-value asset was part of an official introduction to the "Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe" (OSCE).
