Department: Materials ManagementResponsibilities:- Supply Planning with SAP ERP for selected product portfolios- Responsibility for product availability and inventory management within the Central European region. This specifically includes continuous, forward-looking assessment of product availability to prevent supply gaps and coordination of measures as needed.- Implementation and, if necessary, adjustment of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting tools in preparation for daily shopfloor management.Projects:- Analysis and optimization of slow movers with the potential for upstreaming to reduce inventory values while maintaining or increasing service levels. This included evaluating and processing datasets, as well as deriving suitable recommendations for the Supply and Demand Planners of Material Management.- Evaluation of the usage possibilities of the SAP transaction for automatic blocking of deliveries for large order quantities. For this purpose, existing data was analyzed and processed to define measures and further system settings based on booking and behavior patterns. Additionally, an escalation process was defined and implemented in collaboration with customer service.
