At Klarsicht-Verpackungen Weber GmbH, I serve as the head of the technical department and also as the assistant to the CEO.As the Head of Technology, I am responsible for the machinery and equipment park. Moreover, I oversee the procurement of new machinery and installations. In total, I supervise 10 individuals from the mechanics department and facility management who maintain the production halls and modify or service the machines. Apart from overseeing the machinery, my department also spearheads research and development. In this capacity, we develop digitization projects and integrate them into the process. A particular highlight of my career was the successful implementation of a mobile operational data capture system, which enables real-time production control and analysis. My involvement in this project spanned from hardware development to programming, allowing me to showcase my skills both technically and in project management.Additionally, I had the privilege of introducing a new manufacturing sector. During this process, I implemented the value-added processes from component manufacturing, through the relevant post-processing steps, to the storage of components in our proprietary storage system. Alongside the storage system in Microsoft Power-Apps, I developed an application for monitoring the printing process and capturing operational data using React-JavaScript, Python, and PostgresDB.

At Lapp Group, my responsibilities included the following points:- Development and design of components and assemblies in compliance with industry-specific standards and legal regulations.- Creation of concepts up to production-ready designs.- Execution of design-related processes such as the preparation of technical documentation or the product approval process.- Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Solid Edge).- Collaboration on specifications and creation of requirement specifications.- Selection and design of suitable components, including in metal and plastic.Highlights of my employment at the Lapp Group were a successful patent application, with which I was able to expand the product portfolio. Furthermore, I achieved significant cost savings through the standardization of a component of the SKINTOP cable glands, and reduced component costs through scale effects.

I was part of the the department of polymer processing technologies. In there I worked in varoius fields of activites. I continiued working on the polyurethane synthesis via a twin screw extruder after my student research project. Furthermore the preparation of experiments, data collection and the final evaluation of the data belonged to my tasks, e.g. I investigated the thermodynamic behaviour of semi-crystalline polymers. In order to do that I started a series of p-v-T experiments and evaluated the data via the Tait-Equation.A project I worked on, which peaked my personal interests, was the recycling of the interior of old aircrafts. In order to do that shredded the parts to granulate and produced a 3D-printing filament out of it via an extruder. For the investigation specimen have been printed and tested via a tensile testing machine.
