As Co-Chair, I advise the TSOs in the association on legal matters in relation to the interpretation, implementation and adoption of EU law as well as the implementation of regulatory procedures before national and European regulatory authorities. My tasks also include interacting with external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, the European Commission and market participants and providing legal support for legislative procedures.

As a corporate lawyer at Amprion, I support the integration of a common European internal electricity market by implementing Network Codes and Market Rules, drafting and negotiating multilateral cooperation agreements, conducting regulatory approval procedures, complaint procedures before German and European authorities, and litigation before the European Court of Justice. As chairman of a group providing legal support to a European implementation project consisting of sixteen Transmission System Operators reaching from France in the west and Romania in the east, I am in charge of long-term contract planning, allocating legal recources to project-streams and performing risk-analyses.
