I have been in the IT industry for over thirty years. I currently work as a .Net Architect in a multi-region team that spans Europe,Oceania, and different locations in the USA. I sincerely enjoy building platforms hundreds of thousands of people use and the challenges they represent. I also love interacting with multicultural groups, as I have in most of my work experiences.My journey in the Financial Industry, spanning several years, was a significant learning curve that took me from the front office to the back-office operations. This industry, which I am deeply passionate about, provided me with the opportunity to delve into another of my passions-data and analytics. I had the privilege of working with cutting-edge tools like the Bloomberg Quants platform, which played a pivotal role in modernizing legacy tools built in Matlab, R, and unsupported frameworks.I developed a keen interest in learning and adapting to new technologies and languages in my professional journey. The emergence of React and its ecosystem has significantly eased our work, a development that I positively enjoy. As a Data Scientist, I've had the opportunity to explore and implement the latest machine-learning techniques and struggle with the complexities of building data pipelines for real-time metrics. In this context, Python has become my go-to language.I cannot put aside my long experience with .Net in nearly every version. It is a reliable language, and its constant improvement challenges me to learn more.My profession allowed me to enjoy another passion: traveling and meeting people from other cultures. I spent significant time in South America, Central America, North America, Europe, and Asia. I could also learn more languages and communicate well in a few.Of course, I always set aside time for my family.
