About Maximilian Rauch

Education is an amazing profession and I have been very fortunate to have had a wide range of experiences in Dubai over the last 13 years. From kickstarting my career in the hospitality industry, managing restaurants as an avid ‘restaurantpreneur’ at Madinat Jumeirah – to returning to my former classroom at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management as an F&B Lecturer to teach and inspire a new generation of hospitality students. With Operations-related responsibilities encompassed in many of my previous professional roles, I soon discovered my passion for Operations Management in 2017 and haven’t looked back since. I have strong record success and an extensive knowledge in operations management, project management, energy consumption, health and safety, compliance and finance. I believe that innovation and technology are undoubtedly what brings operational success to the workplace and my passion for sustainability and environmental awareness has dramatically increased over the past decade. I enjoy meeting new people, leading multiple teams and working with a plethora of nationalities every day – one thing which I have learnt over the course of my career is that education and hospitality (wherever you are) is all about people.
