Born with Cerebral Palsy. This motivates me to even challenge myself and have high aspirations in my endeavours.Graduated from Chapman University in 2012 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in creative producing and a Specialist Diploma in Communication Strategies in Social Media from Republic Polytechnic.Represented Singapore at London 2012 Paralympics, Rio 2016 Paralympics and Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in equestrian. In between, I competed at the World Equestrian Games 2014 at Caens, France. I also represented my country in sailing at World Championship level in single and team boat classes.As a Team Singapore athlete I also get the opportunity to participate in various community outreach programmes to promote the charitable cause as a way to give back to the community, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle to fellow Singaporeans and to promote the awareness of local sports. Some of these events and causes include:Project Happy Feet, Purple Parade,National Geographic Channel-National Environment Agency (NG-NEA) Eco Run 2013Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Singapore activitiesSharing my story through school talks, corporate invitations and other forum is my way of creating awareness of disabilities, motivating and inspiring others. I have been featured in a few short documentary on local media. My message has always been about looking at one's abilities and not disability, that everyone has some form of disability, some more visual and apparent than others; about maximising potential and being embraced as an integral member of society.
