At CSB, the AT team and I emphasize the importance of assistive technology to enhance educational experiences for all visually impaired students as well as their IEP teams, My emphasis is on DeafBlind students; to effectively serve this student population I have learned and continue to practice, braille, assistive/access tech. and basic level of ASL. I have a strong understanding of screenreaders, efficient screenreader use, and Braille notetakers. I am currently working on projects that will motivate students to use their skills and be completely enjoyable.
