I assist the Editor with mainly getting him organized and get our producer up to speed on changes on current jobs. My tasks at hand include: logging and digitazing dailies, making sure we have every available element for editing such as, music and sfx. Sometimes I will create a rough cut for clients to see and approve. Other duties include making copies of the spot for our clients and other broadcast personnel. So far I have worked on only spots that are geared to the Hispanic Market( which is great because I am Mexican-American, speak spanish, and I would love to contribute to the Hispanic Market in any way.)

I was a camera operator for the local sports show called Southwest Kia Sportstalk. I was also an occasional camera operator for The Gordon Keith Show.

Usually ran audio for big events held at school such as rallies, dinners, company parties, and many other educational oriented programs. I also ran audio for the Jazz Bands and occasional events that did not have to with school such as weddings, quincenieras, and movie screenings.

I started as a simple assistant to a one man production company in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. I learned how to operate camera and edit. My mentor and I would do videos for weddings, quincenieras, corporate videos, dance recitals and local commercials for Nuevo Laredo and Laredo,TX . When I became a junior in high school I produced high quality promos and spots for local clubs and bars in Nuevo Laredo.
