Constructed and operated a small scale packed bed tubular reactor for a condensation reaction based on the company’s existing batch data for the process.Responsibilities included:- Ordering all relevant parts, physical construction of reactor setup, preliminary testing and optimization of reaction conditions.- Preparation of catalyst for use in reactor including both activation and screening.- Weekly presentation updates to supervisors and write final report on findings and future recommendations.
