I am taking on a new role for L.E.A.D Academy Trust from 18th Aril 2017. I am looking forward to working with the the schools in Leicester and Derby and developing my school improvement skills further by working for the Trust. I wish all those in St. Bernadette's, Northampton Diocese and Milton Keynes Council the very best as I leave headship and begin work in this more strategic role.

Now as an NLE I can work with schools that may need leadership support. I have taken two schools out of Special Measures and two schools to Ofsted's Outstanding grade. I then returned to take up a new headship and continued as a Team Inspector for Serco/Ofsted for 5 more years. With this experience I can now advise and support colleagues in other schools. I am also undertaking a Masters in Inspection, Monitoring and School Improvement at the Institute of Education, UCL. This brings high quality evidential research which I often reference when supporting schools. I work as a consultant for the National Education Trust and support schools along their improvement journey. I provide Headteacher Performance Review facilitation for governing bodies. Show less

This is a large Primary School serving a large multi ethnic population of Milton Keynes. The diversity brings a richness the school and I am very proud to be its headteacher. I am also a qualified additional inspector and completed Ofsted inspections for Serco. This experience keeps me up to date with inspection changes which benefits my own school.

I was on the Interim Executive Board for the four Catholic schools in Northampton. The three Primary schools and one secondary school work together in a Federation and as a member I supported, challenged and helped to govern the group of schools.
