Over 30 years ago, I had no idea where my career was headed. I just started somewhere, zigged and zagged, learning about myself along the way.I used to think I needed to get good at ‘the work’ (whatever that was) & that it was important to know where you wanted to ‘do’ that work (wherever that was). Along the way though, instead of the work itself being the thing, I have become fascinated with human behaviour & what happens when we are in teams & organisations. Because what looks good on paper doesn’t always pan out when the human beings are dropped in & start interacting with one another! And here I am, 50+ sporting the grey hair that says I have stories to tell, & experiences to share. Still very curious. Definitely still exploring. & intriguingly back where I started – passionate about teams & teamwork.
