As an After-School Counselor for Curlew Creek Elementary, I was independently responsible for a total of twenty-five children; second grade, aging from 7-9 years old. During work hours, my duty was to effectively prepare each day with academic activities, as well as talk through and help with homework given throughout each week. Check-ins with parents were a major contributing factor that allowed vital communication, ultimately leading to successful growth with each child. Adaptation, as well as patience, were both key qualities to exhibit when working with each individual child, as well as group activities.

As an Assistant dive instructor, I was responsible for teaching skills and assisting up to 6 students in the water. During this process, adaptation was key to understanding how everyone learned and what techniques they specifically required in order to achieve success; paying attention to detail with all their abilities or where improvement was most needed. Age range from students started from minimum 12 years. CPR as well as other safety skills were the required knowledge to be held as well as to be taught thoroughly.I became an underwater photographer as well
