I am also a certified civil mediator.

Wrote briefs (appellate and trial), memorandums, position papers and mediation statements. Argued motions and appeals; served as trial counsel. Authored opinions as appointed Interim Member of the Michigan Workers Compensation Board of Review. Spoke to large audiences on employment related matters. Conducted training on litigation avoidance, business formation and mediation. Adjunct Professor at Oakland Community College.

Professor in ABA certified 4 year paralegal program. Taught introductory and advanced substantive classes as well as legal research and writing. Supervised students at community legal resource center (in Washtenaw County) awarded the Carnegie Foundation "Community Engagement Classification" recognition.

As "captive counsel" represented the Company in labor and employment litigation matters in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Worked closely with senior management to create and implement HR/ER policies and procedures; participated in the collective bargaining process; handled NLRB trials and appeals; advised and counseled Security operations; developed and delivered training on FMLA, ADA, sexual harassment and diversity; designed and assisted in the implementation of a court approved ADR process.
