Maxine McLeod Miller began her real estate career in 1993 and assisted in the development and sales of Headquarters Island Plantation - a 200 acre, waterfront community. In 1997, she moved to Prudential Carolina Real Estate as an Associate Broker where she served on the company’s marketing council and was a consistent multi-million dollar producer. Since moving to Northern Virginia with her husband, Maxine has been active in all aspects of the real estate industry including branch management, sales, training and education, recruiting, coaching, and strategic development. Maxine is committed to giving back to the industry she loves and remains very involved in the Virginia Association of REALTORS and Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS. She served ten years on the Grievance Committee at NVAR and has also served as the chair of the Education Advisory Group and the Convention Committee, vice-chair of the Broker's Forum, and as a member of the Technology Committee. At the state level she has served on the Information Management Committee at Virginia Association of REALTORS. Maxine enjoyed a successful fourteen years as the managing broker of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alexandria and Fairfax City (now Annandale) offices where she managed a group of highly successful agents, as well as the marketing and operations of a profitable office. Under her leadership, the office was recognized for rising from the lowest performing office to the top Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office in the Washington, DC Metro area.Maxine has a love of charity and philanthropy. She is active in her church, the Junior League of Northern Virginia, Reading is FUNdamental, the Sunshine Kids, the PenFed Foundation, and most recently lead the drive to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Women Build to help provide a permanent, safe home for a local family.
