Worked in the Store Systems team of the Group IT Department.Role overview:- Assisted in the development and deployment of several projects, helping to communicate requirements between the product owners and developers- Contributed to planning of new features- Conducted testing and QA for new features- Provided support and troubleshooting when issues were found- Wrote code to help with the processes mentioned aboveMain projects:- Endless Aisle/Digital Shelf: An in-store self-checkout system which also communicated with all stores in the region, allowing for stock inquiry and setting up of delivery/pick-up in other stores.- Image Search: Utilized AI technology (from Alibaba Cloud) to recognize customer's images of products and matched it with appropriate products available in-store. Integrated with Endless Aisle/Digital Shelf.- Payment Gateway: Internal payment system/framework for all stores under the AS Watson brand.- Rewards Management System: Internal system to manage products made available for certain rewards programs under AS Watson.Tools used:Oracle SQL, Postman, Jira, Microsoft Office, Java (IDEs used: Eclipse, NetBeans), SeleniumAdditional skills:- Ability to process and organize information related to technical systems- Wrote documentation for new systems, and/or instructional guides for non-technical users- Communicated between different users and developers in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Senior capstone project as part of USD's Computer Science program. Transact Campus is a company based out of Phoenix, AZ, offering campus card solutions for many college campuses nationwide.The project had a focus on data analytics, using it to create solutions in regards to identifying and tracking Covid-19 on given campuses based off locational data (mainly door access data). This was mainly plan and run fully by USD students, with oversight and advice from both USD faculty and Transact Campus staff via weekly meetings.
