Out in Climate is a 501c non-profit doing pioneering work to build inclusion and visibility for LGBTQ+ people in the climate workforce.- In September 2024, I formally established Out in Climate's Los Angeles Chapter. I am working to grow LA’s queer climate community with local events.- In December 2024, I joined Out in Climate's Steering Committee. I help guide our national strategy and I am building a revenue model to support the organization's growth. - I also led events for Out in Climate at RE+ 2024 and VERGE 2024, major conferences with 45,000+ combined attendees. There, I grew new event partnerships with Silicon Valley Bank, Trellis Group, SEIA and SEPA.

Since June, I have been providing commercial GTM advice to organizations working in emissions monitoring, climate data and space technology. For example: - Advised a Lower Carbon Capital portfolio company entering the environmental monitoring market with a PaaS offering. Strategized on key verticals, ideal customers, competitive positioning, hiring roadmap.- Advised two investment firms on strategic entry to the methane monitoring market and Earth Observation market, including technology landscape, market trends, revenue drivers and key players.- Advised a professional services company on pricing and purchasing behaviours for analytics built on tasked and archival satellite imagery.- Advised an emissions monitoring SaaS startup on market validation, customer needs and BD engagement.

From March to May, I took a sabbatical to spend time exploring the natural world and connecting with family. I visited and learned about unique ecosystems throughout the Sierra Nevadas, Grand Canyon, Pinnacles, Zion, Anza-Borrego Desert and California coastline.

Planet is a leading provider of Earth Observation data products, and has launched over 600 satellites. I led Market Development for Planet’s new methane monitoring offering and a suite of other climate data products, all powered by the company’s new hyperspectral constellation, Tanager.- Drove a cross-functional GTM team towards product-market fit and repeatable, profitable use cases for methane monitoring, climate risk management, environmental reporting, carbon measurement and supply chain sustainability. - Built an Early Access Program of market-leading customers and partners across Energy, Agriculture, Mining, Forestry and Hyperspectral Software. Used their direct feedback to guide product development and evaluate commercial opportunities ahead of satellite launch. - Reported to CRO and Commercial VPs quarterly on commercial OKRs, progress and strategy for Tanager. - Led early customer engagements with buyers at our top enterprise accounts (assets $100B+).- Faciliated over 100 discovery meetings to validate value propositions for hyperspectral use cases. - Steered the BD relationship with our nonprofit partner, Carbon Mapper, with whom we had jointly secured over $100M up-front mission funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the High Tide Foundation and the Grantham Foundation. - Architected platform, solutions and reseller partnerships to capture the methane monitoring market.- Received formal recognition from 7 colleagues for excellence in leading external-facing engagements.

Blue Skies Space is tackling critical data gaps in the highest-demand areas of space science by operating an independent fleet of astronomy and planetary science spacecraft. I led the company’s commercial strategy and execution in North America. - Brought in over 40% of total company sales revenue and established Sales Operations & CRM during my tenure. - Negotiated the company’s largest deals to-date with two flagship US clients.- Spearheaded engagement with decisonmakers at national space agencies including NASA, CSA and CONAE. - Presented our space missions as an invited speaker at 38 leading research institutes across 14 countries. - Established mission credibility by co-authoring several scientific publications, white papers and an article in Nature Astronomy, the world’s most prestigious astronomy journal. - Managed four junior colleagues in Business Development Team.- Built a global exoplanet research collaboration of ~35 scientists from client institutions.

From 2016–18, I led our commercial strategy and engagement in East Asia, Australasia, Canada and the Middle East. After 2018, our team expanded and I was able to redirect my attention to the critical North American market.
