Design and execute experiments to develop and define nucleic acid drug substance purification and characterization at small and large scale. Initial efforts utilized a cell culture system with harvests up to 100L and then shifted to a synthetic process at up to 6-10 L scale. Unit operations of interest include chromatography, tangential flow filtration, depth filtration, nanofiltration, and final filtration, as well as lending support to synthetic biology, DNA amplification, and precipitation proof-of-concept studies
