Growing up in a world that is changing politically and socially developed my curiosity in regards to how government can make things work for the better. I became specifically interested in what policy can be implemented to make the economy work in an ethical and efficient way.I got the chance to explore these interests during high school as an intern for Mike Levin's congressional campaign and Katrina Foley's run for OC supervisor. I also used my position as politics editor on my high school newspaper to cover the immediate economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.Now as a first-year at the George Washington University, I am excited to explore more opportunities where I can continue learning about the government's optimal role in an individuals materialistic well being. Here I also hope to take part in the master of public policy program for economics majors and eventually go to law school.
