Embedded Software Engineer
CurrentI'm the lead firmware engineer on our hardware design team. I led the firmware development of a battery management system that would extend product battery life on a secondary bare-metal MCU. I've reviewed countless datasheets and helped inform decisions on hardware architecture to deliver the best outcomes to our clients. I've developed drivers and HALs for I2c, UART, and SPI peripherals that were managed on TIRTOS and FreeRTOS platforms. I've led the design of multiple bootloaders that have included CRC checks for verification before boot. I created a UART layer protocol that allowed our OS engineers to send events to our MCU. Recently I also deployed an open source PyTorch YoloV5 object detection model on a Nvidia Jetson Docker Image to demonstrate proof-of-concept eye tracking capabilities.
