During my career in Real Estate @ MIP Properties, I had utilized some of my free time the run a start-up web business, hence Vanadium Analytics.Since young, I had been absolutely interested in the financial market especially in the field of fundamental & technical analysis, developing trading systems that work (which makes money ultimately) and simulating all sorts of systems to generate lots to see if a system works and if the risk-to-reward is justifiable.Vanadium Analytics' core product is to provide trading signals to the Forex market for subscribers, with clear concise long, short and stop-loss level for all major Currency Pairs. The Web Application is considered to be an Enterprise System where by it includes marshelling data from Rueters, processing it to generate the precise signal and delivers back-testing and on the spot market result report if a subscriber were to follow the signal generated.Trading systems developed are optimized through walk-forward testing but not curve fitted. Hence, making it "natural" and fits to years of the market conditions in the Forex financial markets.However, due to the high cost of internet marketing and absolutely cut-throat business in the financial market, it wasn't easy for us to carry on the business operation and I had decided to close down the business.However, the software and signals are still in used for my own personal gain.

Focusing on IT services and custom enterprise software solutions consulting, as well as playing the role as a Technical Architect mainly on Java @ J2EE @ Java EE Enterprise Software Development.Through out this period of time, I had been actively involve in projects in the below industries:1) Financial/Banking industry (specifically Risk Management)2) Manufacturing (Line tracking and inventory)3) Tobacco industry (Global/Regional Sales Profiling)I had been leading project team size which ranges from a small 2 person commando squad to a 13 person development team. My job mainly focuses on Enterprise Software Development specifically on the java @ J2EE @ Java EE platform. Through out this career period, I had successfully implemented solutions for both local and foreign companies.The nature of software solutions developed are mainly document/records management system and business workflow for Credit Card gift/voucher redeeming.

This was my official freshman position just right after college. I started of as a Software Engineer in Alfacom Technologies, a local software production house. Since then, I had been actively developing Java Enterprise Software Solutions and had participated in various projects in various industries such as::- Telecommunication - Customer Profiling Solution - Full J2EE Stack Implementation and lots of data migration was performed:- Security Clearing House - Mutual Funds Transaction back-end - Partial partial J2EE implementation:- Financial/Banking Sector - Credit Risk Solution - moduler component development and integration works for an existing platform.Besides, during the very early days of J2EE, frameworks were almost non-existent. So, I did managed to reengineer the company's framework such as MVC, ant build scripts and other J2EE/GOF pattern related framework for easier development when projects were to take place.Lots of learning curve back then and life was fun.

During my 2nd year in college, I took up a freelance job offered by Schindler, one of the lift & elevator companies in Malaysia to develop a in house training evaluation system, which captures the training effectiveness of the employees of the company.Its a simple Client-Server app running on a small DB with a Java/Swing front end.

This is my first on job exposure during my 1st year in college where by I am in a team of 3 to produce a universal controller electronic board for elevator controlling. My role is to design and program the control software for the micro controller (Intel based) installed on the board.Interesting and fun...
