Ideally I like to join a project at an concept stage and follow it through until launch and eventual keep evolving the product or service long after it has reached maturity.My specialty is software craftsmanship in its many forms. For most of my career I have been enjoying a mix of back-end and front-end development, usually in a web environment. I have a great deal of empathy for the end user with their varying skills and previous experiences. This has been immensely useful for me when creating productive and pleasant user experiencesSometimes I have been the sole developer in a project which has required me to not only to be fully responsible for all parts of the technical solution but also to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues of different disciplines.Beyond documented professional experiences I have a variety of semi-professional experiences: 15+ years of programming, game design and programming, graphic design and print production, branding, copy writing and cooking.
