One of my favorite family traditions during the holiday season is working on jigsaw puzzles. It gives my family an opportunity to electronically unplug, emotionally connect and work together on a common goal. Every year the puzzles are different, our strategies bend and adjust, our strengths and weaknesses are challenged, and we stay at it for days on end. To me, Project Management is like a puzzle, but with a small caveat…deadlines. Like every puzzle, projects will never be the same. Strategies and challenges revolutionize, skillsets evolve, but all with a common goal of completion. I am a Project Manager, working with a business-critical group of accomplished PM’s, helping to maintain and grow a portfolio comprised of over 50 award-winning wine and spirits brands. Just as I enjoy family tradition, I wake up every day energized to empower my cross-functionals, celebrate wins and most importantly remove obstacles preventing success. Originally from WA State, I relocated to wine country to continue my personal and professional growth in an environment rooted in tradition and generational values. My wife and I enjoy the California year-round sun, allowing us to stay active and adventurous in the outdoors and often find our foodie-selves searching for something new. It’s always important to embrace change, but we certainly don’t forget where it all began and find harmony revisiting what once was.
