Returning to my family business, I have taken a more senior interest in direction; refining products and services offered as well as independently managing projects. Some of my contributions include:- Driving key Initiative objectives of increasing lead acquisition by proactively tracking sales metrics- Pioneering all aspects of a new product offering, modern composite decking, by actively interviewing real prospective customers about what they really want.- Analysing and gaining buy-in for a team-sourced idea to invest in electric tools to clear growing technology debt & reduce maintenance costs.

During my time at Blue Marble, I worked all around the company assisting individuals with their workload when needed and taking many individual projects.- Utilised qualitative and quantitative methodologies for data analysis in market research, as well as presenting them to clients.- Developed high-pressure note-taking skills completing grid frameworks that I had helped develop.- Created and assisted with multiple presentations for clients.- Was privileged enough to be with people across a broad range of roles to observe, ask questions and help with varied aspects of the business, from bidding and project proposals phases to the end deliverables.

At Maple Services, my family business, I worked as a self-employed contract labourer but quickly became more involved with all aspects of the business. Over time I helped to transform the business to become more digital and automated, as well as reorganising work flows & business infrastructure to become more efficient. - Performed duties of a skilled labourer involved in technical outdoor construction projects.- Quoted, liased, advised and sold to clients regarding their outdoor construction and hard landscaping needs.- Managed a small team to achieve outdoor garden transformations.- Sourced materials and tools, and handled B2B interactions. - Reformed online presence & business capabilities, facilitating new profitable offerings like stone resin driveways and jetwashing.

During my undergraduate, I took on many student ambassador roles with a range of responsibilities. - Mentorship and guidance of 12-18 year olds in workshops and residential programmes. - Manning University information booths, both on and off-site and helping run University open days.- Event and grounds preparation.

During this Summer role, I learned the ins and outs of customer service and hospitality from the ground level. - Learned stock management and customer relations skills. - Handled events like screening of the 2018 World Cup.

At EH Smiths, I shadowed the General Manager at the head office for a short period - and gained an insight into the systems involved in the sales process at the small business department.- Gained insight into the role and responsibilities of upper management.- Observed and became familiar with the sales systems.

During work experience at the University of Warwick biomedical laboratories, I was taught and observed biomedical laboratory techniques and processes by Dr. Leo Calvo-Bado and his research team.- Investigated Leishmania parasitism prevalence in Brazilian stray dog populations using gel electrophoresis and ELISA techniques. - Became familiar in diverse set of general lab techniques and data entry methods.
