I'm the founder of The PhD People. We're pioneering a new approach to doctoral skills training, one that's community-driven and online. By bringing together world-class learning managers and academics with global PhD students we're able to offer an alternative to the traditional university ecosystem, which is creaking. Built around a community platform, we offer innovative workshops, cohort courses and other content to guide students through to completion. We also work as advocates for those students, positioning ourselves as pioneering thought-leaders in this new space. I am answering this question by looking at the people, ideas, histories and organizational structures of some of the biggest success stories in recent sustainability policy in order.
