Setting and operating a range of HASS lathes including live tooling. Programming online and offline.

I capitalized on an opportunity to travel to gain new experiences, foster personal development, and bring a renewed perspective to my field of study. This period of travel allowed me to build strong connections with other individuals and cultures, which has cultivated new growth and a better understanding of my future goals.

- Proficient with Fanuc controls- Calculate and set machining centres to regulate, speeds/ feeds and cut depths in accordance to drawing specification- Follow Jobs cards to meet production time frames- Alter Offsets throughout production runs- Working to tight tolerances - Read, interpret and produce engineering diagrams- ISO 9001 compliance- Competent with hand held measuring tools- Maintaining a Clean work cell- Set up automated saw to cut billets to correct lengths- Listening to machines to recognize tip wear and changing tips when necessary - Set up and operate surface grinding machines- Making sure machines are maintained to the highest standard.

• Programming new parts daily, making sure that they are time effective• Maintaining CNC machines• Designing products that have already been produced to create engineering drawings for potential customers.• Organising old programmes, naming headings to make sure set up times are quicker• Setting up the machines to run a different parts for other members of staff• Taking it upon myself to organise the warehouse including labeling of all stock items and stacking them in a more specific order on the racking. This allows us to process orders quicker and more efficiently • Overseeing other members of staff when senior management are off site• When urgent orders are needed, taking charge of couriering the parts around the UK• Setting up the saw daily• Making sure that staff maintain and clean down their machines, before and after operations• Swaging of billets to specific sizes for machining • Recently attending and completing a one week X and Y axis operations course in Lemington Spa• Full forklift license and health and safety trained.

- Working alongside process engineers - Upkeep of the production line to reduce downtime. - Main Maximo administrator on site- Gage insite experience- Validating and calibration of equipment- Logging critical spares input and output

- Working in high pressurised conditions- dealing with customers day to day- Work ranged from a general service to clutch changes.Equipment used:- Tyre changing and balancing equipment- Oxy Acetylene Torch- 4 post lifting ramps
