I create startups to that practical radicalism: practical ways to institute radical change to broken and stagnant social, technological, or economic systems.The best innovations are those with high leverage which fuel other further innovation in a virtuous cycle of increasing prosperity. Technologies such as the use of electricity, efficient agriculture, clean running water, the information revolution, computation, and AI, have all served as platforms to catapult us into the next era.Perhaps the ultimate leverage point in our society is a culture of innovation and progress, but our culture is now broken; as a result progress has stagnated. I aim to fix this.
