Working on development of Penrose and Lamarr sounding rocket systems for EUROC cup. Constructed an aerodynamic simulation of the Penrose rocket to evaluate flight performance and helped with development of range safety protocols. Currently helping with the CAD model for the mounting system and test setup.Performing CFD analysis and CAD model design for subcomponents of the Lamarr rocket, including drag analysis of nosecone designs, as well as construction and aerodynamic simulation of a variety of possible mounting railbutton designs in order to minimize supersonic drag on the airframe. Collected data into reports summarizing and analyzing test characteristics.

Worked on thermal control for the FEEP propulsion system of CLIMB, a Cubesat mission intended to measure the effects of the lower Van Allen Belt on small satellites, as well as repairs to thermal vacuum test chamber. Performed orbital analysis, constructing a quaternion dynamic MATLAB simulation to investigate the ability of the onboard ADCS system to orient the craft in-flight against fluctuations and desaturate the reaction wheels after thruster firings using B-Dot Control. Utilized nonlinear sliding mode control techniques to control rapid target pointing and improve stabilization under environmental and thruster perturbations.

Working on aerodynamic drag analysis of a supersonic model rocket for the 2022 Spaceport America Cup. Analysing aerodynamic drag and flow over the rocket system, updating to match new models. Also assisting in radio control of the rocket system while inflight.

Researched charities and community support groups working in Greater Manchester. Wrote reports on prospective collaborative partners.
