As far as I can remember, I have always had a propensity towards math and have been interested in finance, real estate and statistics. Fortunately, I was able to gain some exposure to these areas throughout high school and college by working in various companies including a hedge fund as an intern.This explains why I chose to graduate with an accounting degree, as it would provide a base for most other disciplines. Being able to read and understand financial statements will be a pillar for any other professional endeavors I undertake going forward. Since graduating from the University of Arizona, I have been accumulating valuable experience working as an auditor in New York City. Currently I am a Senior Auditor and have oversight over some junior staff which is providing me the opportunity to learn management skills as well. Being organized has been paramount to my career efforts thus far and it makes everyone's life easier.When I'm not at work I enjoy the face to face social interaction from friends and family, in particular when it comes to sports.
