Hi, I'm Max! I am the Online Sales and Media Coordinator at Spicer's Music, a brick-and-mortar music retail/lessons business! In my role, I run and maintain our website, take professional pictures of our inventory, create online listings, fulfill orders, film videos for our social media accounts, and much more! In my role, I utilize both creative and technical skills to perform my duties and constantly look for things to improve and optimize.Since taking this role, I have standardized and improved the appearance of our online listings, worked on our website, boosted our online sales, and more!I have been working in some capacity since I turned 16. As soon as I got my driver's license, I was on the prowl for a job opportunity. My first job was as a part-time media specialist for RadioAlabama, a Sylacauga-based radio and news company. While I worked there, I wrote articles and edited videos for the company. Following high school, I secured a part-time job as a teller for Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union. During every Summer/Winter break from my college studies, I would work full-time hours at the credit union. This job was very important to me, as it was my first taste of real public-facing work.After resigning from the credit union in 2021 to focus on my studies, I secured a part-time job at Spicer's Music, where I still work! At that time, I worked on the sales floor and sometimes stayed as late as 2AM taking pictures and videos for our social media, all while being a full-time student!I have a wide variety of skills and aptitudes in the workplace. Through my experience working with the public, I have developed a strong affinity for customer service. By proxy, I have very high patience, attention to detail, and care for the work I do. I will never shy away from going the extra mile. I have herculean determination when it comes to workplace tasks and look at them as challenges. Some people like to brag about clocking in for 8 hours and only really working for 2. Not me! If I'm at work, I'm working.I have an assortment of technical skills as well. I am confident on both Windows and Apple operating systems as well as their respective software suites. In my creative pursuits, I have familiarized myself with Adobe's suite of software, mainly Photoshop and Premiere Pro. In my studies at Auburn, I learned a variety of IT topics including, but not limited to: Database Management, Information Security/Risk, IT Compliance, Project Management, Management, etc.In my free time, I like to listen to music, play guitar, read books, and hang with friends.
