Happy to be led or to lead, humble and open, I love my job and strive to find like minded individuals.A doer, someone who enjoys producing not just functioning code but expressive, maintainable and testable systems. Happy to learn new technologies or leverage existing knowledge, it's all about finding the best tool for the job. Enjoys and promotes working in flat hierarchies where all developers take part in software design decisions and are able to accept differences in opinion allowing the best arguments to triumph. Accustomed to working with Agile methodologies and a keen advocate of TDD and pair programming.Currently I'm working for a client scaling up from startup to something bigger creating ad tech for hotels. In the last few years I've worked in financial services in the worlds largest independent trade ideas network, I've built microservices for submission of academic articles to scientific journals, and worked at the worlds biggest mobile games company creating low latency distributed ad tech.Experience in leading both projects and developers through mentoring, line managing and community building.
