Dutch speakwords (proverbs) and outspeakings (sayings) literally translated to English making it sound funny. Starting out as an entertainment account on Twitter in 2012, Dutch Speakwords has expanded to multiple Social Media platforms, as well as resulted in the establishment of a company. In addition to multiple collaborations, Dutch Speakwords has a webshop that offers a variety of merchandise such as fridge magnets and mugs.

I am a certified freelance translator at One Hour Translation with a main focus on translation jobs that require translation and proofreading from English to Dutch, and from Dutch to English.

Delft

As a Demand Generation Specialist, my job was to generate leads for Exact via Online Channels, specifically LinkedIn. My responsibility was to manage a large number of LinkedIn campaigns simultaneously, constantly optimising performance and results. Additionally, I was able to work together with LinkedIn directly, which was very inspiring.

As a Customer Support Professional I was responsible for solving support tickets via phone, e-mail and chat. Knowledge about the Exact's software (Exact Online) was crucial for solving issues, answering questions and giving advice. About halfway through, I specialised in business software specifically for logistics (wholesale and manufacturing companies), a market that I am to this day inspired by.

Additionally, Skybird Social helps grow your audience, allows you to jump into threats and opportunities and work together with colleagues while doing so, helps you monitor what potential customers are saying about you online, and offers a tremendous amount of digital insight.

Lingosaur is a Finnish translation agency that hires professional translators and provides them with freelance translation jobs.

The Hague

For my final thesis report I have fulfilled an internship at a digital marketing agency named Digital Captains. From January until July 2016, Digital Captains' founders have guided me during the process of writing my final thesis report for my study, European Studies.The written thesis report provides a recommendation on how Digital Captains can help increase athletes' income through the use of social media. Both desk research and field research were conducted. As for field research, both amateur and professional athletes were interviewed to support the research findings.In the process of writing this report for Digital Captains I was able to learn a lot about the business activities of digital marketing agencies, social media marketing and social media platforms, amongst many other things in relation to digital marketing.

During my internship at NBTC Holland Marketing I have created and translated Facebook content, completely managed NBTC's Instagram account, processed and analysed results and statistics, and functioned as spokesperson in an international team of Holland Ambassadors.
