For more than 20 years, I have concentrated my practice in the areas of intellectual property, commercial litigation, contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate transactions, representing clients that include large publicly-held companies, privately-held companies, startups, artists and entertainers, and individuals.My intellectual property work involves trademark and copyright protection, negotiation of publishing and recording contracts, commercial contracts, technology licenses, and other IP agreements. When disagreements arise, I represent clients in litigation before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. I have pursued and defended the rights of my clients in supplier disputes, business torts, breach of contract actions, and trademark infringement, striving to obtain the best possible outcomes via aggressive courtroom advocacy or, when feasible, alternative dispute resolution methodologies.
