I am an engineering team lead / lead developer who excels at working on large, quality projects. I enjoy planning and designing the best architecture to get the job done properly, and executing a project with sharp precision and unrivalled engineering.I value the extendibility, clarity and re-usability of systems and their code above all else. A well-crafted solution should be the no-compromises goal of every project, for the significant benefits it entails.I enjoy being involved in the community, putting effort into staying up to date with the best practises and development paradigms, and most importantly ensuring that the products I work on are iteratively kept up to date and in good condition. Without initiative and time, every well built platform will become legacy - however it really doesn't need to, with the right mindset and execution. I am a strong supporter of open source software, I use GNU+Linux exclusively, and expect to be working in an environment where that is not only possible, but is actively encouraged - for it's immense benefit to the development of software and the tremendous productivity it enables developers to unlock.I favour a collaborative, agile approach to software development, with strong communication within the project team. Above all, I desire for my work to be of a very high quality - and pivotal to that is for me to be working at an organisation which truly believes and strives to accomplish that outcome, and does everything in it's power to put me in the best possible position to utilise my skills and experience such that I am consistently delivering this.My stack of choice is Laravel/VueJS - and I have plenty of experience with those frameworks (though more on the Laravel side), and I'm also strong on the infrastructure front. I specialise in API first architecture with SPAs.
