I am currently the technical leader on a corporate-wide Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) upgrade serving 6 sites with over 700 users. This multi-tier application is being implemented using an Oracle 10g database and Oracle Application Server 10gR2. The servers are Windows Server 2003 running on VMware ESX. I am responsible for technical decisions and providing guidance on business issues. I design and implement interfaces and develop solutions to technical challenges. My responsibilities require the development and implementation of PL/SQL programs, SQL*Plus scripts, SQL Server Reporting Services reports and Oracle Developer/2000 Reports. I author, execute and review validation protocols. I work directly with vendor support staff to resolve issues and with consultants for custom programming assignments. I also provide 24/7 support for all versions of the LIMS application in use by the QC/QA functions and R&D groups. My prior responsibility was to lead the upgrade of the Chromatography Data System used by one of our manufacturing sites and one R&D location. Immediately preceding this I was the project leader for implementing the MSDS authoring application in support of Corporate Environmental Health and Safety. Prior to that I was the Project Leader and Technical Resource for the implementation and validation of the LIMS application for one of our R&D Centers.

I supervised a team of three Programmer Specialists providing management, implementation and support of QC applications in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. My team provided project leadership and technical support for the implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System. We also implemented a laboratory data collection and analysis application. My responsibilities included: Project Management; Hardware Selection; Hardware Installation; Software Installation; Validation Protocol Authoring, Execution and Review. Other responsibilities included support for the manufacturing site's Preventive Maintenance Management application, Network Installation, Desk-Side PC Support and Mid-Range System Administration including Procurement and DRP and Capacity Planning.

I was responsible for system analysis, design, implementation, customization, and user support for State Data Tape and Patient Billing modules for the Integrated Hospital System.

My responsibilities included design, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and user support of financial systems for the Agricultural Chemicals Group. I was also responsible for evaluation of the Accent R database management system.

I was responsible for design, implementation, documentation, maintenance, user assistance and training for the Railcar Lease Contract Information system and Universal Machine Language Equipment Register system.

As a part-time programmer in the Data Processing and Computing Center, my duties included design, implementation, documentation, and user support for Student Admission system programs.

My responsibilities as an instructor of IBM Basic Assembly Language included teaching, assisting students, designing and grading assignments.
