I am a GIS professional and an experienced science educator. I seek to reveal stories through spatial data and solve novel social problems with technology. With skills in the latest geospatial technology and programming, and career experience across disciplines, I am equipped to support your organization in a meaningful capacity. Geospatially I have worked on Python programming to detect unhoused communities in fire risk zones with aerial imagery and machine learning, managing relational databases to assess and visualize park access for social equity through ArcGIS Pro, web mapping digital divides in ArcGIS Online, and managing urban planning data with Microsoft Azure, ArcGIS Enterprise, PostgreSQL, and SQL queries. My experience spans multiple continents and contexts, from non-profit management in Uganda to creative and rigorous science instruction in New York and Los Angeles.
