Gasteig managing director, singer, lawyer, yoga teacher - to put it in Faust's words: several souls live, alas! in my chest. I know what the artists on stage need, on the other hand, as a lawyer, I also know how to implement it. Through my experience with yoga and meditation, mindfulness and strength orientation have a special place in my job: It is very important to me that my employees feel good and can develop their talents. As Gasteig managing director, I am responsible for what are probably the two most important projects in the history of Europe's largest cultural center: the relocation of the Gasteig to the interim Gasteig HP8 building and the subsequent general renovation of the Gasteig in Haidhausen. Although these two mammoth projects present my team and me with great challenges, they are a great pleasure. It's a great opportunity to create something from scratch that you very rarely have in your professional life. I am involved in the University Council of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA), where I have been a board member since January 2018.I like to think outside the box and network beyond culture into the business world.
