In my role at B&R, I have ultimate responsibility for the success and continued growth of my territory. I am responsible for fostering and facilitating mutual success at many core customers. In addition to key account management, I also continually prospect, qualify, and engage new customers where I identify areas for mutual growth and innovation. With the support of my world-class team, I must also take ownership of coordinating and directing new projects through training, design, development, testing, and series production.I regularly rely on my background as an Applications Engineer to create real value at my customers and to do whatever it takes to reach our mutual goals. My customers must be able to count on me to quickly identify and address issues and take real ownership of a wide variety of technical challenges and solutions. In our industry, the technology landscape is growing at an incredible rate. I must also continuously master the latest technologies, trends, and ideas so that I can regularly innovate with my customers and continue to win their business every day. As B&R continues to grow, I must also regularly contribute to recruiting, training, mentoring, trade shows, conferences, and supporting the overall B&R ecosystem. I am responsible for motion control theory and sizing training for our sales teams in United States and Canada. I also take responsibility for mastering knowledge in many product areas so that I can be a reliable resource to my colleagues. As a manager at B&R, I am responsible for building my team and making sure they feel valued and empowered. I create development plans for individual needs and strengths, foster career aspirations, and make sure B&R continues to be the best place to realize potential. It is critical to be able to identify diverse aptitudes and build a culture of innovation. I must continue surround myself with team members that I can learn from and serve to.
