My interest in computer science began when I attended a summer camp run by Blue Stamp Engineering. The focus of that program was to introduce high school students to basic electrical and computer engineering concepts. It was from this camp that I discovered a passion for software development. After high school, I attended the University of Wyoming (UWYO) and was enrolled in their computer science program. There I learned languages and built programs in Java, C++, and Javascript. Advanced coursework included topics such as algorithms and data structures. After UWYO, I went to the Turing School of Software & Design in order to gain a deeper working knowledge of web development and supporting back-end engineering using Ruby on Rails. Most recently, I was certified in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and I am currently studying for certification as an Azure Developer Associate.
