Maxwell is presently studying for his Masters in philosophy at University of Montana where he works as a Teaching Assistant. There, he specializes in environmental ethics and aesthetics. His expected graduation date is May 2024. Maxwell is a graduate of St. John's College where he focused on philosophy and literature. After graduating, he was offered a job at his previous internship, Alan Squire Publishing. There, he started out as a webmaster and thereafter took on new roles as associate editor and editor-in-chief of the literary journal, the ASP Bulletin. Maxwell left ASP in December of 2022 to focus on his studies.In his downtime, he is a dedicated learner. He has earned a CELTA certification from Cambridge, studied Spanish to the B2 level, continued his undergraduate study of Attic Greek, and learned the modeling software NetLogo. He has also worked with the Esperanza Center in Baltimore to offer ESL tutoring. He is dedicated to the study of ecology and complex systems, currently working on his skills of field recognition and systems modeling. He has worked on farms, at arboretums, for a publishing company, and as an ESL teacher.
