I’ve just graduated Law School, and will be sworn in to the Minnesota Bar on October 25. I am proud to announce that received a score on the Bar Exam sufficient to practice in any UBE Jurisdiction. On that note, I am planning to expand my practice to include Texas and Arizona.I am a winner of the Sports Lawyers Association's National Law Student Writing Competition. This was an immensely rewarding process, and a contest I am proud to have won. This victory netted my entry, "The Rodchenkov Act: When Taking Our Ball and Going Home is Unconstitutional" a publication in the Sports Lawyers Journal, a national legal journal edited by Tulane law students and published by the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA), and a healthy cash prize.In addition to my professional interests, I am personally interested in contemporary foreign affairs, military science, and national security. These interests are supported by my Political Science degree from Texas A&M University (cum laude) my natural strength in pattern recognition, and learned foundation in history. Those that know me personally would endorse my acumen in these areas, but I also received validation of my confidence in the form of the Dean's Award in "War, National Security, and the Constitution", a class taught by Michael Stokes Paulsen. This class required an immense amount of information distillation and delivery, and is my most gratifying academic achievement.I maintained several leadership roles during my time at TAMU, serving as both president and standards board member of a student organization, now hosting over 50 members. My senior thesis; "Sunrise on the Dark Continent: Modernization Investment Strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa" (2016) was a canary in the coal mine, sounding the alarm for Chinese Neo-Imperialism in Africa. I am also an avid outdoorsman, Vikings fan, and MMA fan. I have roots in both Minnesota and Austin, Texas, and would love to connect.Gig' Em!
