Key Responsibilities and Duties:• Distribution planning• Vehicle management & control• Incident reporting • Fuel management & cost savings + tyre management • Financial budget control • Manage distribution costs• Operations reports• Strategic management • Manage fleet contracts with freight companies (Key accounts management)• Manage fixed asset register• Procurement• Manage license renewals, ownership changes, traffic fines acc to AARTO Act • Manage tracking devices & reports• Report on fuel efficiencies, policy compliance and operational requirement’s• Report on fleet ROI [return on investment] • Manage total operating cost of fleet • Condition of vehicles • Investigate and analyze vehicle accidents and problem solving• Periodic vehicle and branch inspections• Staff management• HR & IR management of relevant staff in conjunction with HR Department
