I work on a team which concerns themselves with engineering quality. We have produced the non-functional tests for this project. Together, we have delivered on providing a framework to allow for the modular assembly of different types of non-functioanl tests. Having built load tests and idempotency tests, we also have the capacity to deliver on choas tests, smoke tests, soak tests, and whatever else you may think of as non-functioanl testing. We work to collaborate with other teams to help them better understand how the system copes with real world, high load scenarios.Our team has also branched out into dependancy and vulerability scanning. We have assembled jobs on the CI/CD pipeline to ensure a lack of regression surrounding vulnerabilities in both our code, and the 3rd party dependancies our code leverages.We have also worked to produce a wargames event, which I then conducted for the client in order to demonstrate the resilience of the system against loss of various resources, active intrusion, intermittent bugs, etc.
