As the CTO, I am responsible for implementing cutting-edge technologies and strategies to protect our clients' mission-critical data from internal and external threats. I collaborate across functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address unique security requirements and ensure compliance with industry regulations while fostering a culture of security awareness among employees.

As the leader of a small engineering team based at a customer site, I oversee the rapid development of Android apps, low-power digital electronics, and Linux desktop applications. Additionally, I facilitate the integration of open-source and customer-provided code to enhance our capabilities and deliver efficient solutions.

The program utilized the commercial smartphone industry as the foundation for an open and mobile Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) system. By leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques like 3D printing, the system could easily adapt to dynamic operational environments and accommodate various sensors. The interconnected apps, coordinated through Binder Inter-app Communication, supported both government R&D and field operations. The system components included ACSS for route planning, sensor storage, and forwarding, as well as handling LTE and mesh radio communication. The system also integrated open-source autopilot for programming and location updates.
