- Create a Ti:Sapphire laser for physics undergraduate research and labs.- Calculate and test optimal resonator cavity measurements for a Titanium doped Sapphire crystal laser capable of producing pulses on the order of ~10 fs.-Use a Brewster Tube with internal output coupler for determining ideal radius of curvature for mirrors inside resonator cavity.- Utilize Mathematica to model and formulate optimal measurements for the Brewster angle and optical components.- Assist in manufacturing and adjustment to induce consistent lasing.- Create and present an informational poster outlining the project.

- Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) with the mechanical and thermal engineering directorate.- Developed software for concentrated solar power (CSP).- Worked with parabolic mirror optical error identification using computer vision techniques.- Identified imperfections rendered from PhotoModeler photogrammetry software.- Wrote a research paper and made a poster for the Department of Energy.
