As a Shift Engineer at US Navy, I manage 60+ staff members to facilitate the operations of a nuclear reactor and the training of over 300 students per year to crew US Naval vessels worldwide. I have been serving in this role since June 2022, after completing a 2.5-year tenure as a Naval Officer on the ballistic missile submarine USS West Virginia, where I held multiple roles including Assistant Engineer.I am certified by US Naval Reactors to operate and manage a nuclear reactor, a prestigious and rigorous qualification that demonstrates my competence and leadership in engineering disciplines. I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Norwich University, where I graduated in 2018. I am passionate about applying my engineering skills and knowledge to support the US Navy's mission and vision, and to contribute to the safety and security of our nation and allies.
