I work for the Manufacturing and Test Department in the production centers at the company’s headquarters. Coordinating a week-long orientation & training program for bi-weekly new hire groups of 10+ employees using a blended learning approach.2. Meeting regularly with management to continuously improve the program in relation to department goals and evaluate the program’s overall efficacy. 3. Developing content to present and instruct with, based on the ever-changing requirements of the curriculum. 4. Communicating regularly with multiple departments to facilitate distribution of equipment, obtain clearance and ID badges with the security team, book conference rooms for training, and manage the training schedule. 5. Fostering lasting relationships with new hires to improve morale and understand the challenges faced, creating a bridge between the technician and management teams. 6. Creating detailed email reports about each day of training, outlining the progress, following day’s agenda, and behavior patterns of each trainee to provide a rounded view to management. 7. Assisting with various department projects involving training, assessments, etc. 8. Providing additional support in the Lab (troubleshoot, repair, etc.) and conduct product research and analysis as necessary to improve training material. Show less
