Participated in the sorting and packaging of several accessions of cowpea (Vigna spp.), maize (Zea mays), and some under-utilized legumes (Bambara groundnut - Vigna subterranea, African Yam Bean - Sphenostylis sternocarpa, Winged bean - Psophocarpus tetragonolobus.Assisted PhD researchers in the characterization and measurement of yield parameters of harvested seeds of Bambara groundnut and African Yam Bean. Assisted in the snapping and labeling of over 150 accessions of Yam (Dioscorea spp.) to be uploaded in the institute's database.Assisted in the post-harvest cleaning of several accessions of Cowpea and Winged bean seeds after fumigation.Extracted DNA from lyophilized leaf samples (using the CTAB method) of several accessions of Yam (Dioscorea spp).
