• Maintain updated safety files for the various sites/ projects and respond to employee Health and Safety concerns.
• Implement and monitor Safety policies and procedures at BAUER Group, Ghana.
• Ensure that BAUER Resources Ghana ltd. complies with all relevant OSHACT legal requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is in good repair, have broken equipment scheduled for repair and make equipment available to mechanics when it is scheduled for preventative
• Update, Maintain and record incident report to BAUER Group, South Africa.

• Audit local area OHS compliance with regard to risk, Emergency and Hazardous waste management
• Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
• Developed injury and incident prevention strategies for their area
• Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of the health and safety strategy and risk management strategy, and
• Develop occupational health and safety strategies and systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
• Help supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action
