My current remit is to support and lead development of the department’s portfolio of clinical trials with specialism in stereotactic body radiotherapy. As part of my role I work with the National Cancer Research Institute Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance Group (RTTQA) in developing and managing the radiotherapy research aspects of new trials at a national level. I also work across the clinical and academic departments with a significant proportion of my time dedicated to original research, working as part of the Cancer Research UK/Medical Research Council Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology. Current projects are normal tissue complication probability (NTCP) modelling in anal cancer patients and comparison of radiation dose delivery in Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy.
